This is a nice top! The cast iron is ground really smooth, with no sharp edges, like someone took some pride in their work.Putting my straightedge just in front of the cutout, there's a gap of 0.35mm (0.014") on the left and 0.55mm (0.022" ) on the right. No quite to spec, but certainly close enough for woodworking IMO. To be fair, some of that could be my straightedge, although I I believe my straightedge to be very close to straight.My only (minor) complaint is that they put a slot in the table for a miter gauge, but that is clearly shown in the photos and description. After 45 years of woodworking, I still don't the need for a miter gauge on a router table, but maybe that's just me.
