Using the same laser welding process as the Iridium Power spark plug, DENSO designed a long life spark plug factory-installed on luxury vehicles by automakers such as GM, Toyota, Honda and Mitsubishi. Using its patented Iridium alloy, DENSO was able to shrink the center electrode to 0. 7mm, dramatically improving ignitability and longevity.

These are the exact same spark plugs that Honda used for my 2009 CR-V. The little CR-V was quality made in Japan, and they installed the Denso long lasting Iridium option at the factory. These spark plugs are also made in Japan. They came pre gapped at .040 inch. I installed them as is with the .040 gap, and all is well.I was very lucky that my 2009 CR-V was made in Japan. I know some are made elsewere. But mine was made perfect. They really care about quality. No worries here
