Easy iron-on, sew-on or Glue-on Iron-On Patch Instructions 1. Prior to application, heat iron to 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Set stem to OFF. 2. Iron the area of the garment where patch will be placed. 3. Position the patch on the garment, with the embroidery facing up. 4. Place a pressing cloth over patch and press firmly for 30 seconds (for thicker fabric, more time my be needed). 5. Flip garment over, and iron the back side of the patch for 30 seconds. 6. Let garment cool for one minute. This is a nicely made iron-on patch. The lettering is sewn on very neatly. While I have yet to apply it, I have noticed that it is thinner than most sew-on patches. I imagine that is intended so the heat from the iron will work more efficiently toward even adhesion of the patch to whatever it is being applied to. I will be applying it to a new bag I got. I love the message it gives because it applies evenly to anyone's interpretation, be it positive, negative, or somewhere in between. It is evocative while not offensive. I consider it a privilege to cause people to question life and what it means to them simply by offering them three words on a patch of fabric. Such IS life.
