Wal-Mart stopped carrying appliques last year. In the recent past, you could buy a patch like this for approx. $1.69. I do not know why they are $3.00 and $4.00 now. They are nice, but they are not worth it. I needed 3 patches to repair a throw that my dog chewed. It should not have cost $12.00 to fix 3 small holes--especially since I did the work myself.
