This is the second pair of iron age boots and I love them. Bought these to replace ones I wore out after 2 years of heavy use. This new re-design of the boots run about 1/2 size larger and the tongue is suede and not gussetted (the old tongue was leather and gussetted to keep out dirt). Also, there is not much cushioning in these boots and they are not waterproof. Otherwise, These boots are a great value and I would buy them again.love the way they look but they run big and are kind of uncomfortable hard bottom. not sure i will buy shoes online without trying on somewhere firstMy husband likes the boot, although says they are pretty heavy. He will only wear them for short intervals because if this.I bought these for my son who is an arborist. He is a big boy and wears a 13 wide. The fit is perfect for him! He is very happy with these boots and they are keeping him warm and dry during this cold weather. These boots are made well for the working man. I will be buying them again in the future!Easy to return and the boot fits awesome and is very well made.Good low cut work boot!Boot is already ripping apart at top lace outlet.
