I'm using this on my Weber natural gas grill. So far, I've made pancakes, hash browns, smash burgers, cheese steak, fried rice, bacon, eggs - see a trend? I've been using it a lot. I've been eating a lot too. This is cast iron and heavy. The finish on the cast iron is not the smoothest I've ever seen, but once seasoned, I was able to cook over-easy eggs. I've not had anything stick yet.I have been either using bacon grease (probably have cooked 3 pounds in the last week) or peanut oil to cook on. You can use canola, avocado, or whatever you like. I apply a small amount of oil after I clean it before turning off the heat. For cleaning, I've been using paper towels, water, and a dough scraper (ordered separate for use with the griddle, basically just search for a griddle kit and you'll find spatulas, bottles, etc that are convenient). I scrape the griddle as clean as I can, remove any debris (like cooked on food), and then apply water. This does have a trough to collect grease/food stuff. It does not drain. I use paper towels to soak up the grease or water. For my grill, I'm glad it does not drain at the bottom as I'd have a grease fire to deal with.Few other final thoughts. The griddle was not warped and is thick - seems like you'd have to really screw things up to warp this iron. It takes a little while to preheat. I light my grill and preheat this on lower to medium low. I'd recommend an infrared thermometer to find out what temp your griddle is at. My grill says high/medium/low, but those are not useful for cooking.Overall, this is a great griddle and my family is getting a lot of use out of it. Well worth the money.Only downside is it create a lot of heat out the back of the griddle. I actually melted my spice containers on the back of my stove. So lesson learned, remove the spice containers before using griddle. It is super heavy, probably the one thing I have found so far that actually might break my granite counter top if I were to drop it on it. I use cast iron skillets all the time so am used to clean up. So far I have used it for fried zucchini, hamburgers and pancakes. This cast iron is great, the breakfast meals we have prepared on this are great. Our family watches how each item added to the grill takes on a completely different appearance, let alone a completely different flavor. Our back yard has become the new camping food.Easy to use & clean. We like that we can take it with us to use on other grills vs buying a free standing propane griddle.A little expensive, I thought, but it’s big and fits great on my grill. Have done smash burgers, big fry up breakfasts, and more. Enjoyed cooking fajita meat and fixings all at the same time outside. When you understand the nuances of cast iron cooking you can do just about anything on this flat top. This is a well packaged quality piece. All things being what they are these days, the cost is a bargain!Very substantial to the point we couldn’t figure out where to store it or clean it but it was great quality!Well worth it...great qualityI orders this item and the 3 burner stove after using my Brother in laws out camping. Basically it is an over size, over weight, over priced camping stove. The first gill I got was cracked or crack on first use. I returned it and got a full refund but was not able to get a replacement. the camp stove is not much use unless you have one of their accessories as most items are way to small for it causing splatter (frying pans, grills etc...) the only way I was able to get a replacement grill was to reorder it and they had increased the price by $20.00 and it took a long time to arrive. it is hard to clean properly. To large for a sink, to large for a standard oven to re-season. there is no drain for excess grease so great care must be use to clean/remove from the stove (turn it off) Good for many people cooking useless for 1-4 people. that is my opinion anwaysPerfect fit on Camp Chef 3 burner (Denali Pro 3x, the one Costco Canada sold). Only concern we had was whether it would fit with the single burner cast iron grill that came with our stove. I couldn't find a straight answer online when I researched it before I bought. I can confirm it is a perfect fit when used over the left two elements (original single on the right element).Excellent quality, even heat distribution, easy cleanup (clean like you would a seasoned cast iron skillet. Just water or salt and water if needed. DON'T use soap unless you want your next 10 meals tasting like 'Palmolive').I am a Scouts Canada leader, and we used it when we had 80 visiting Scottish Scouts. We were able to feed them quickly and efficiently with the help of this griddle. I highly recommend to any Scouts/Guides group or any large groups or organization. This is basically a cast iron slab with grill ridges on one side and a oil well to catch run off. It's big and heavy and gives you a lot of cooking surface to play with. We bought it a couple of year ago and use it constantly, both inside on our stove and outside on the grill when we're cooking something that just works better on a large, flat or grill surface. It's fantastic for cooking a lot of something (think burgers, grilled cheese, pancakes, veggies, whatever!). It's heavy cast iron and annoying to store (it ends up living in our oven when not in use), but we love it!Took it on my first camping trip and was cooking on it, and suddenly there was this big bang and it cracked. WTH!!! I couldn't believe it! Am waiting to hear back from Camp Chef Customer service as I'm just outside the return time frame for Amazon. On reading past reviews now, it seems this is a common thing to happen to this griddle. Such a shame as I love everything else about this griddle.Works great. I used it to cook pancakes on the flat surface and cook meet on the other side.My only problem with this is that theres no real way to drain the grease while cooking. I bought the grease tray but it was pretty much useless with this griddle. The surround lips keeps the grease trapped in. Next time I'll bring some welding gloves so I can grab it and drain it between patties.
